Jeremy commenced his career in the electrical industry through an interest in doing something different. Taking an education in Business and an interest in how things worked, he brought the skills together within a family electrical business. Through a career from apprenticeship through to becoming President & CEO, he has participated in a multitude of projects in a variety of industry segments.

In 2019 a new path presented itself for Jeremy in electrical apprenticeship education through Georgian College. Merging his passion for the electrical industry and his commitment to learning, Jeremy accepted a position as Professor of Electrical Apprenticeship Studies where he teaches electrical apprentices from diverse backgrounds.

In 2022 after conversing over ULC-S1001, The Standard for Integrated Systems Testing of Fire Protection and Life Safety Systems, Jeremy joined Lonergan Engineering and is looking forward to bringing his experience and perspective to projects from the proverbial “other side of the fence”.

Jeremy developed a reputation for honesty, commitment, and quality in the projects within his portfolio. Preferring collaboration and cooperation to conflict, Jeremy approaches projects with an open mind and a desire to learn while striving to execute the vision of the project.

Jeremy possesses a Master’s Electrician license in the province of Ontario, a 309A Construction & Maintenance Red Seal license, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
